The Association of Professional Behavior Analysts is pleased to offer the following advertising opportunities at its 8th annual convention. Sponsorships include the packages of items described; other advertising options may be purchased a la carte.

Sponsorship Packages

Platinum Sponsor - $2,500
Includes one skirted and clothed 6 ft. × 30 in. exhibit table, two chairs, and 5 ft. of space behind the table for all 3 days of the convention; full convention registrations for 3 individuals; acknowledgements on the convention webpage, convention app, and signage in registration area and in program guide; and a full-page black-and-white ad inside the program guide. Please see Exhibitor section below for details about exhibits. Ads may be upgraded for additional fees as follows:

Exhibitor

Exhibit for all 3 days of the convention. One full convention registration is included with each exhibit. Additional exhibit workers who wish to attend convention presentations and other events must register for the convention. Those who do not wish to attend other events may purchase an exhibitor-only registration ($150; see Register).

APBA Affiliate Organization - $350  (Note: Available only to current APBA Affiliates, which are nonprofit behavior analysis associations -- see Affiliates on the website homepage)

College or University - $350

Other - $550

  • All exhibits are tabletop with 5 ft. space behind the table(s) for a standing display (must be provided by the exhibitor)
  • Includes one skirted and clothed 6 ft. × 30 in. exhibit table and two chairs for all 3 days of the convention,100-word description with the exhibitor listing in the convention program guide, and one full convention registration for the person responsible for the exhibit
  • For additional exhibit table, add $200. Sorry, no other furniture may be added to exhibits.


    All purchased exhibits will be in the Grand Foyer DEF, adjacent to the convention registration area, the Grand Ballroom where all keynote addresses and most breakout sessions will be held, and the the Park View room where some breakouts and the poster session will occur (see diagram below). Coffee/tea stations will be set up in the exhibit area throughout the convention to help draw attendees to exhibits. Additionally, the Friday evening reception will be held in and around the exhibit area.

Exhibitor Terms & Conditions

  • Electricity, audiovisual equipment, internet hookups, etc. for exhibits are not included in the fees paid to APBA and must be ordered directly from the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch audiovisual and internet service providers. Order and pricing information will be provided to those who purchase exhibits.
  • Exhibitors are responsible for arranging and paying for shipping and handling of exhibit materials through FedEx Office at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch. Receiving and handling fees vary by weight. Information and pricing will be provided to those who purchase exhibits.
  • All signage must be professionally made (no handwritten signs) and is subject to approval by the Hyatt Regency.
  • Nothing may be taped, stapled, nailed, screwed, tacked, or otherwise affixed to any hotel doors, walls, columns, or other parts of the buildings or furnishings.
  • No gummed stickers or labels may be distributed.
  • An exhibit includes one 6 ft x 30 in table and two chairs; one additional table may be purchased. No other furniture may be added to exhibits.
  • Standing displays must be placed behind exhibit tables unless they fit on the table. 
  • No part of an exhibit can cover or restrict access to fire exits, obstruct trafficways, or be moved from the assigned location shown in the diagram above.
  • Exhibitors may give away products and materials at their own exhibits, but not at the APBA convention registration or continuing education desk or in any convention rooms or other areas.
  • Exhibitors are responsible for keeping the area around their exhibit clean. Literature and other display materials must be limited to reasonable quantities, and reserved supplies must be kept in closed containers and stored in a neat and compact manner.
  • The exhibit area is not secure. Valuables should not be left at unattended exhibits. Neither the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch nor APBA is responsible for loss of or damage to exhibit equipment or materials.
  • Exhibits are to be set up on Wednesday, April 18 between 6:00 and 8:00 pm and must be torn down by 5:00 pm on Saturday, April 21.
  • Convention registration is required to enter all convention areas, including the exhibit area. That means that all exhibit workers must register for the convention. See the information above about convention registrations included with purchase of Sponsor packages and exhibits. Those purchasers will receive instructions about those registrations and how additional staff can register for the convention. 

Social Event Host

Advertise your brand while helping to underwrite the Friday evening reception (6:00 - 8:00 pm; open to all convention registrants) and/or Saturday luncheon and roundtable discussions (12:00 - 1:30 pm; open to registrants who purchase tickets. Maximum attendance: 350).

These options to not include convention registration. Individuals who wish to attend the convention must register (via the Register tab on the convention webpage).

Blue Ribbon Reception Host - $1200 (3 available)
Includes a table at the reception on which you may display materials, acknowledgments on signage at the reception and in the program guide, and a GOBO of your logo projected on a wall or ceiling throughout the reception. Fee includes creation of a single-color glass GOBO by the hotel’s audiovisual services vendor, rigging, and labor. 

Red Ribbon Reception Host - $600 
Includes a table at the reception on which you may display materials and acknowledgements on signage at the reception and in the program guide.

Luncheon Host - $400
Includes a table at the luncheon on which you may display materials, two tickets to the luncheon, and acknowledgments on signage at the luncheon and in the program guide.

Registration Area Advertising

These options do not include convention registration. Individuals who wish to attend the convention must register (via the Register tab on the convention webpage). 

Escalator Wrap - $2,200 (1 available)
Have your brand displayed on the side of the escalator going into the convention area throughout all 3 days of the convention. Fee includes creation and installation of the 33.3 square foot wrap by FedEx Office and the hotel’s advertising charge.

Elevator Door Wrap - $1,200 (8 available)
Have your brand displayed on a door of one of the elevators going into the convention area throughout all 3 days of the convention. Fee includes creation and installation of the 22.1 square foot wrap by FedEx Office and the hotel’s advertising charge.

Single-Wide Column Wrap - $1,500 (7 available)
Have your brand displayed on a single-wide column in the convention registration area throughout all 3 days of the convention. Fee includes creation and installation of the 66.4 square foot wrap by FedEx Office and the hotel’s advertising charge.

Double-Wide Column Wrap - $2,100 (2 available)
Have your brand displayed on a double-wide column in the convention registration area throughout all 3 days of the convention. Fee includes creation and installation of the 102.2 square foot wrap by FedEx Office and the hotel’s advertising charge.

GOBO in Registration Area - $1,500 (2 available)
Have your brand projected on a wall in the convention registration area throughout all 3 days of the convention. Only two are available due to space and lighting constraints. Fee includes creation of a single-color GOBO by the hotel’s audiovisual services vendor, equipment rental, and labor.

Branded Power Hub
- $300
Have your brand displayed on a decal on a power hub at one of the charging stations in the convention area. Fee includes creation of a custom decal by the hotel’s audiovisual services vendor, electrical service, and power hub rental for all 3 days.

Ads in Program Guide

These options do not include convention registration. Individuals who wish to attend the convention must register (via the Register tab on the convention webpage).

Ads in the printed program guide are ¼ page (4.25" wide x 5.5" high), 1/2 page (8.5" wide x 5.5" high), or full page (8.5" wide x 11" high).

NOTE: APBA's mission is to promote and advance the practice of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Advertisements and exhibits at the convention must be consistent with that mission and with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board's Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.

Payment and Cancellation

Payment must be received by March 10, 2018.  Cancellations must be made in writing to Gina Green and are subject to a $25 administrative fee if received by March 23, 2018.  Refunds will not be provided after that date.
